OUR MISSION
The
Great Commandment
‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your
heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength,
and with all your mind; and your neighbour as
yourself.’ [Luke
10:29]
The
Great Commission
'Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I
have commanded you.' [Matthew 28:19-20]
Each generation in the
Church
is tested and proved
as followers of Jesus
Christ
by both the Great Commandment
and the Great
Commission.
In light of God's requirement
of
perfect love and
Christ's charge to make disciples,
we
have weighed our skills and abilities, opportunities
and obligations, desires and spiritual gifts
in order
to cooperate more fully
with the purposes of God
and
serve as partners together
in a great adventure of
faith.
Therefore, we find
ourselves called to,
and exist to invite the next generation to
Experience
the fullness of
Christ's transforming love.
