Welcome to Practicing the Way at Christ Church Denver!

Christ Church is partnering with Practicing the Way––a nonprofit founded by pastors to create “a curriculum for Christlikeness,” as Dallas Willard yearned to see. This program will be used in conjunction with some of our sermon series and small group gatherings.

Created by pastors, and growing out of a local church’s journey into discipleship and formation, this curriculum is designed as a pathway to becoming like Jesus in community. And for us at Christ Church, it is a part of our vision: to become deeply committed, whole-life disciples of Jesus for the world, by learning to be with, become like, and live like Jesus. Our emphasis here will be on developing or deepening our discipleship practicesin community.

our format:

1) Each week, we’ll kick it off with a sermon on Sunday, which will end with an invitation to a practice that week.

2) Then, we encourage you to join with your small group––or, if you don’t currently have one, just a friend over coffee––to reflect, discuss, and get ready for the next week.
