@ St Gabriel’s Episcopal Church

6190 E Quincy Ave, Englewood, CO 80111

$20 (including continental breakfast, optional lunch, and childcare; scholarships available)

REGISTRATION REQUIRED

As we enter the darkest weeks of the year, we move toward the coming of the Light. Join us as we set our hearts on the certain hope of Jesus, our Dayspring from on high, and the gift of God's presence in the darkness.

Drawing on the O Antiphons, this morning of reflections, images, silence, and sharing will strengthen your prayers in these weeks before the celebration of the Incarnation.

$20 for registration, which includes continental breakfast and an optional lunch (please note any dietary preferences at registration)

FREE childcare is also available (please indicate names and ages of children at registration); contact Tammie Sawicki with any questions.

Scholarships are available, if needed; contact Fr Joseph Wolyniak for details.

This event is hosted by the Daughters of the King from Christ Church Denver + St Gabriel’s Cherry Hills.

Speaker:

Dr Kathleen Mulhern is all of these things at once: God-lover, historian, author, reader, professor, wife, mother, and grandmother. She doesn't excel at all of them all the time, but she does most of them well enough most of the time.

Kathleen holds degrees in Church History (MA), French Literature (MA), and European History (PhD, University of Colorado-–Boulder). She writes on a variety of faith subjects for Dry Bones at Patheos.com, Plough Quarterly, Conciliar Post, and other outlets.

She has spent many years as a religious editor and now teaches church history and spiritual formation at Denver Seminary, where she serves as the Interim Director of the Christian Formation Program.

She is also a longtime and committed parishioner at Christ Church Denver.
