Four Tuesdays • September 22 – October 13 • 6:30–7:30 p.m. (Zoom)
For many Christians, the word evangelism conjures images of awkward conversations, debates about religion, or pressure to persuade someone. No wonder so many of us avoid it.
But what if witness looked more like Jesus?
Throughout the Gospels, Jesus rarely argued people into the Kingdom. Instead, he shared meals, asked questions, listened deeply, welcomed outsiders, and invited people into a different way of life. His followers are called not to win arguments, but to bear witness to the hope we have found in him through ordinary lives marked by love, hospitality, and grace.
In this four-week Zoom course from Practicing the Way, we’ll explore how to become faithful witnesses in an increasingly post-Christian world—not by becoming experts or extroverts, but by learning to notice where the Holy Spirit is already at work and joining in.
Whether the idea of sharing your faith excites or terrifies you, this practice is designed to help you discover a way of witness that is deeply biblical, profoundly compassionate, and authentically Anglican. Each session combines beautiful teaching, practical exercises, and thoughtful conversation in community.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this an evangelism training course?
Not in the traditional sense. This isn’t about memorizing scripts or learning persuasive techniques. It’s about becoming the kind of people whose lives naturally point to Jesus.
I’m nervous talking about my faith. Is this for me?
Absolutely. In fact, many participants begin there. This Practice assumes that witness starts with love, listening, hospitality, and prayer—not confidence or expertise.
Do I need to attend Christ Church Denver?
Nope. Anyone is welcome, whether you’re part of Christ Church, another congregation, or simply curious about Christian faith.
Do I need to buy anything?
No. We’ll provide everything you need. If you’d like to go deeper, you’re welcome to download or purchase the optional Witness Companion Guide from Practicing the Way.
What if I miss a session?
You’ll still be able to participate the following week. While we encourage attending all four sessions, each gathering builds on the last without requiring perfection.
