MUSIC MINISTRIES
Join the Christ Church Choir or Modern Music Band. Christ Church is blessed with an abundance of talent and energy offering musical excellence to the Glory of God. Volunteer and staff musicians work together seamlessly each week to produce a unique blend of ancient and modern musical styles. The Choir is open to all parishioners who are interested in singing with us and can commit to the rehearsal schedule. The choir meets most Thursdays at 7 pm for rehearsal, and then on Sunday mornings to warm up for scheduled Sundays from September - May.
The Band is an audition-only group due to the special musical capacity our program requires.
If you are a musician, we strongly encourage you to consider joining our ministry! Please contact Dan Dufford, our Director of Music, for more information.

PEW ANGELS
Pew angels keep our pews neat and stocked with important information for parishioners. Contact Ann Ruybal for more information and time commitment.

READERS
LECTORS (readers)
Lectors are the lay readers of the Word at Sunday services. Given the importance of the Scriptures, lectors are charged with proclaiming the Word clearly, purposefully, and respectfully. Contact Jo Churchill for more info.
PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE
One aspect of our corporate worship as Episcopalians is audible prayer led by a member of the congregation. Prayers either come from The book of Common Prayer or are composed by designated individuals, both of which follow a prescribed outline. Volunteers who read the Prayers of the People can participate on select Sundays based on their schedules. Contact Dennis Ridgley for more info.

WELCOME MINISTRY
Christ Church offers a formal Welcome Ministry which is comprised of Greeters, Hosts, and Sponsors who work with newcomers to help them know more about Christ Church.
GREETERS
Greeters warmly welcome people as they enter the church on Sundays. They answer any questions that people have and help connect them to others. If you love meeting new people, this is a great ministry to connect with. Contact Bev Fish for more info.
HOSTS
Hosts facilitate events that help newcomers become more familiar with Christ Church. These events help newcomers meet each other and gives them an opportunity to ask questions which are answered by Clergy, staff, Vestry and lay ministry leaders.
SPONSORS
Sponsors walk alongside new members and help then connect into the life and ministry of Christ Church.
Contact Tammie Sawicki for more details.

VERGERS
Vergers assist the clergy to assure a seamless congregational worship experience. Vergers partner with Worship Ministry Leaders to address training, planning, and other issues specific to individual ministries. Contact Fran Berry for more info.
